Kitambaa, proud to be part of the Segal Family Foundation's Social Impact Incubator.

Since 2025, we have been part of the first cohort of the Segal Family Foundation's SocialImpactwa (SII), alongside Champions from Benin, Senegal and Togo. The programme is designed to help local organisations amplify their impact: coaching, capacity building, field visits, and connections with funders.

But perhaps the essential point is not in the sessions. The SII brought us face to face with other project leaders who are hitting the same walls as us, in different contexts. Together, we built far more than a cohort: a community, bridges between our countries and our struggles, and a genuine family. Peers to whom one can write on a Sunday evening, and with whom one moves forward.

Thank you to the Segal Family Foundation and Partners for Equity for their trust, and for an approach to funding that keeps its promise: to support without burdening. Thank you to all the coaches for their availability. And thank you to the Champions family: the adventure continues, and what comes next will be built together.

At Kitambaa, the work continues: accessible reusable sanitary pads, women trained to make a living from them, and communities where menstruation is discussed straightforwardly.
