Visit of the President of the Senegalese Federation of Associations of Persons with Disabilities (FSAPH)
When a shared vision turns into a collective movement!
The Aline Sitoé Diatta Vocational Training Center of KITAMBAA, in Sandiara, recently marked a milestone with the visit of the President of the Senegalese Federation of Associations of Persons with Disabilities (FSAPH), accompanied by her Coordinator.
A significant engagement, structured around three key moments:
An Environment Designed for Inclusive Excellence.
The President toured all of our facilities and left deeply impressed, describing the visit as "a truly wonderful discovery." This is a testament to the fact that our spaces provide a welcoming, secure and fully suitable environment to receive our very first cohort under the best possible conditions.
An alliance redefining what's possible. This visit sealed the natural alignment between Amref Health Africa (which leads the Africa Health Collaborative / AHC-L4L programme), FSAPH, the Senegalese Federation of Associations of People with Disabilities, and KITAMBAA, united by a shared conviction: disability is a lever for resilience, innovation and women's economic leadership.
The countdown has begun! Save the date for the official launch in the second half of September 2026. 23 pioneering women will make up this first cohort, paving the way for a unique incubation model in which technical know-how, menstrual health and inclusive entrepreneurship combine to turn potential into lasting economic success.
Thank you to the FSAPH for this visit, this listening and this renewed trust. Together, we are building inclusive, innovative and sustainable opportunities — and this is just the beginning!
