Capacity Building and Stakeholder Engagement for Menstrual Product Standards in Developing Countries
On Thursday, August 20th, Kitambaa was pleased to welcome a high-level international and national delegation as part of the project “Capacity Building and Stakeholder Engagement for Menstrual Product Standards in Developing Countries.” Organized under the auspices of the Senegalese Association for Standardization (ASN) and ISO – the International Organization for Standardization, this technical visit was a valuable opportunity to discuss:
- Aligning our local solutions with international requirements and standards
- The challenges and opportunities of the menstrual products value chain in Senegal
- The active involvement of local stakeholders in the ISO/TC 338 National Mirror Committee
A big thank you to the teams from ASN, ISO, the ITC (International Trade Centre), SIS (Swedish Institute for Standards), and RISE for these rich and constructive discussions.
Together, we are making quality, safety, and menstrual dignity a priority for all!
