Formation Workshop on MHM and the Running of the Képparù Jiggen Space

On Sunday 15 February, from 9:30 am to 5 pm, the first day of Kepparù Jigeen training took place, dedicated to strengthening participants' skills in menstrual hygiene management, through the curriculum developed by Kitambaa 💚

🤝 The approach taken was participatory, innovative and inclusive, bringing together community relays, members of the CelalRewbe association and the Kepparù Jigeen kiosk management committee.

🔬 The discussions helped deepen understanding of the menstrual cycle, physiological changes and good hygiene practices, while dismantling the taboos surrounding menstruation.

🏪 The training also covered the operation and management of the Kepparù Jigeen kiosk as a space for economic empowerment, using practical tools: stock sheets, cash books, sales registers and sales techniques.

Another step towards a sustainable model combining health, women's leadership and autonomy. ✨
