As part of a partnership committed to the dignity of young girls, Kitambaa and Kirene Avec Orange (KaO) joined forces to carry out a solidarity action at the Dianna school. To reach this community located more than 300 km deep in the Tambacounda region, the teams took on the challenge of distance in order to provide a concrete response to menstrual precarity in rural schools. This mission made it possible to run an awareness workshop on menstrual health and hygiene, offering students a liberating and supportive space to break taboos and understand their bodies without shame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond raising awareness, this collaboration between partners resulted in a large-scale distribution of washable and reusable Kitambaa sanitary pad kits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Thanks to KaO\u2019s logistical and financial support, the students of Dianna school now have a sustainable, safe, and high-quality solution to live their cycle in complete security. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

By protecting girls\u2019 health and eliminating menstrual absenteeism, this exemplary collaboration promotes equal opportunity and represents a strong action to keep girls in school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
