Salla Mar is Director of the Aline Sitoé Diatta Training Centre in Kitambaa. Passionate about local development and community project management, she has over 24 years’ experience in facilitation, training, planning, coordination, action research and the monitoring and evaluation of development programmes. She holds a diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation of Interventions from the Institut Supérieur d’Ingénierie Territoriale (ISIT) and has completed several training courses at ENEA.

Her career has seen her hold several key positions: Programme Coordinator at Kitambaa, founder of Cabinet CEFPA-DL, Executive Director of the Atelier de Chefs vocational training institute, as well as roles in radio and supporting grassroots community organisations. Convinced that sustainable development depends on the empowerment of women, she works every day to embody Kitambaa’s ADIPE values: Empower, Uplift, Innovate, Share and Engage.
