A huge thank you to UNICEF

Un immense merci à l’UNICEF.

On Wednesday, July 8, 2026, Kitambaa had the honor of welcoming a delegation from the UNICEF Senegal country office and the Regional Office for West and Central Africa (WCARO), to our sanitary pad production plant in Sandiara as well as to the Aline Sitoe Diatta Training Center.

This visit was a precious occasion to present our team, our local production chain, and our impact-driven business model, entirely designed to empower women and promote dignified menstrual hygiene management.

Beyond discovering our work, this exchange above all allowed us to gather highly valuable technical and practical advice. The quality of your listening, the relevance of your observations, and your ongoing commitment to the health and rights of women and girls reinforce us in our mission and fuel our determination to keep doing better.

We extend our sincere thanks to the entire delegation for the interest shown in our initiative and for the trust placed in us. Kitambaa remains fully committed, alongside partners such as UNICEF, to building sustainable, inclusive solutions rooted in our communities.

With all our gratitude,

The Kitambaa team.
