Visit of the Ambassadors
Thank you so much!
On Friday, June 19, Kitambaa had the immense honor of welcoming 11 ambassadors, including those of Austria, Belgium, Cuba, Luxembourg, Niger, Pakistan, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Venezuela, as well as agency heads and their mentees, in the presence of the Mayor of Sandiara and his delegation, for an immersive visit at the heart of our ecosystem.
But this day went far beyond a simple visit: it was a genuine moment of mentorship in action. Each of our guests supports her mentees on their journey, and this immersion was an opportunity to pass on knowledge, inspire, and demonstrate what female leadership can build on the ground.
Two key partners also joined us: Cellal Rewbe from Vélingara, who led a detergent production workshop and shared the impact of the Kepparu Jiggen Kiosk on their community, and AMFE, which spoke to the quality of our products and their impact on girls’ schooling.
The program included a tour of our factory, the Aline Sitoé Diatta Training Center, and rich discussions on menstrual hygiene management, women’s economic empowerment, and the power of social entrepreneurship.
This visit was memorable, carried by the warmth of the exchanges and the sincere commitment of everyone involved.
Thank you to everyone for your commitment, your presence, and the example you set — and a special thank you to the Mayor of Sandiara and his delegation for their welcome. See you soon for the next chapter of this wonderful adventure!
